First do no harm?

I saw this report last night about hospitals and was truly stunned. As a parent of a child with special needs, who cannot speak for himself, we have to be at his side every visit to the doctor to make sure we convey his needs accurately to the medical staff. What about other people who don't have someone sitting there watching their every move?

Skyler has on average about 1 1/2 to 2 surgeries a year. This is scary as hell, you think that he is getting the best care possible, but check out this one doctors numbers:

40 to 50 incidents of harm for every 100 patients.
44,000 to 98,000 killed every year by their care!
