Tagged right between the eyes

The always wonderful Suze from suzelssass slapped me with a tag.

Here are the rules:

1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages)

2. Open the book to page 123.

3. Find the fifth sentence.

4. Post the next three sentences.

5. Tag five people.

* Book "Still pumped from using the mouse, by Scott Adams" (OK, so it's not War and Peace)

* Fifth sentence - "Don't panic yet, maybe it's something important...Maybe it's something that could make an impact"

* Next 3:
"Your assignment is to improve employee morale."
"Thanks for letting us watch"
"Did you like the part about 6 in a cubicle?"

Nobody gets tagged by me, I just like to see what everyone else reads.

  1. I'm just so impressed that you're reading a BOOK. I have read nothing but maps and European fashion and gossip magazines for the past 2 weeks and my brain is mushy.

  2. I'm so damn busy at work, I read nothing more than the Entertainment Weekly cover these days.

  3. Anonymous3:44 PM

The presence of seasonality makes adjustments in trend-line forecasts necessary.

  4. Anonymous3:47 PM

Seasonality is expressed in terms of the amount that actual values differ from average values in the time series.
Analyzing data in monthly or quarterly terms usually makes it easy for a statistician to spot seasonal patterns.
Seasonal indices can then be developed by several common methods.

  5. TG: I read a lot less than I used to when I commuted into downtown on the bus. Now that I am home, I hardly read at all.

Beth: ET is OK, but you really should branch out to People and Us.

    Anonymous: Drunk blogging again?

  6. And they became very suspicious of that Hillary. "But more importantly, Bill Clinton could not be seen as strong until Hillary Clinton was seen as weak," Morris continued. "Because the public assumed that the power belinged to one of them. It couldn't belong simultaneously, in their view.

    The Truth About Hillary.

  7. ...You'll have to discard the leader at that point. In addition, most brands of wire are impossible to knot in traditional ways. You must use special techniques...

Are we talking about Hillary or Obama here? Nope, Pike on the Fly.
