Where is that Sky-Guy?

The whole fam damnily is getting together in Bellevue Washington for 5 days, we headed out Saturday morning and had the travel day from hell! Delays everywhere, the airport, the drive to the townhome we are renting, checking in, just everything we did we ran into lines! I handled it all in my usual calm, cool way though. I have found that kicking the walker out from under an old lady and beating the person at the front of the line with it will get things moving.

But maybe that's just me, and you all have found your own little methods...

Anywhozzle, we are here meeting up with the family, doing family stuff, talking about what the heck we need to do with grandpa and all those fun things. I wanted to try and get time to meet up with seattle bloggers Cora and E, but I just don't think it is going to work out between our schedule and Skyler's needs. It is more than tough to travel with him.

See you all on the other side!

  1. Maybe it's just as well. You don't want a picture of you, sitting in a restaurant with 2 gorgeous women, to end up online somewhere. Imagine the trouble you'd get into if it gets national attention...

"Colorado man hooks up with 2 of Seattle's finest..."

And I know all about traveling with a disabled person...it's ain't easy!

    Have fun!!!

  5. Just be careful. If you don't get the walker out of the little old ladies hands on the first try, she'll beat you down with it. Those old ladies are mean.

    Have fun!

  6. Chris, that's a great photo.
I was wondering what traveling would be like for you. I'm sure Skyler knows how blessed he is to have a father who is willing to put in the extra effort to get him around. Hugs. xo d

  11. Oh hey...have a great trip!!!

Love traveling with family. You either end up bonding ever so greatly or killing each other with sharp, pointed weapons.

Either way, it's a joy aint it??

  15. Remember to act all crazy in front of distant relatives so they remember you!

It's the done thing, according to my distant relatives, anyway.
