Skylers Ski Day

I took a day off of work on Wednesday and we went up to Winter Park so Skyler could ski. He skis in the handicapped program at NSCD, which is National Sports Center for the Disabled. It is a wonderful program, which relies on a large base of volunteers that help out in exchange for a season pass.

Our volunteers were two nice ladies, Barbara and Karen, which is unusual for a sit ski program. They usually like to have a guy helper because of the strength needed to load Skyler in his sit-ski, but these ladies did very well.

Those of you who know me out on Facebook have seen the still photos, but I added a short video to this.

Take care and have a great weekend everyone!
