OK, enough is enough!

CNN's web page, clicky to make bigger...
This is getting to be insulting to anybody who has ever done some good in the world!

  1. I know he was an icon and all, but holy hell- I could not BELIEVE the HOURS of broadcasting devoted to his memorial service. I'm so very, very sick of all the media coverage. He was a musician- not a messiah, folks.

I loved MJ as much as the next girl raised in the 80's, but after the album "Bad" his music was pretty "Bad" and he turned into a walking freakshow. I've been done with him since about 1985.

  2. OK, he's dead at 50, that's news. But it was news for about 30 minutes in my book. Suddenly he's a great humanitarian and the best the music the world ever had to offer??? Talented, yes but hardly the best. I could name quite a few other that would leave him in the dust.

McDonalds is the best selling fast food but I would never call it the greatest food ever merely because it sells a lot of french fries.

And his "humanitarian" efforts were based on profits from his CD's.

  3. Did I miss when he became a philanthropist?

  4. I just hope that Eddie Money gets this much attention when he dies.

By the way, your reign as Firecrotch is over. You are a runner up though, so I guess that means your pubes are still smoldering a bit.

They saved Hitler's brain. They saved Michael's brain. Just saying.

  8. It's been hell living here. The 12 4, 5, and 6 pm news spends the first 40 minutes on Michael. You can't turn around without someone talking about Michael Jackson and how "special" he was. The media is berating anyone who dares to bring up the molestation issue. I watched TBS and WGN the day of the memorial...thank God for cable tv.

Re: Zibbs' comment - you can bet your bottom dollar people are pissed! The family should've paid. It's not like they're not making enough money off of his death.

  9. I thought Michael Jackson died (creatively) years ago.

  10. Maybe the LA city tax collectors should ask the family if they can scrape some of that 14Ct gold off the casket while they figure out where to bury it.
