It's Good News and Bad News

Much like most of the news you get from your doctor, we got a little bit of both. First off, the good news is that there does not appear to be an infection in Skylers back or a problem associated with the hardware. That is great, because it means we can get out of panic mode about having to go in and remove the hardware.

But the bad news is they couldn't see any problem that would give us a clue about how come he is in pain. So the plan now is that when Skylers orthopedic doctor gets back into the hospital on Thursday, he will go look at the results of the PET scan along with the radiologist and see if there was anything that might have been missed.

So it is wait time now, and I hate waiting. I actually wanted something to be wrong, because something tangible can be treated. Now we are back to guessing...

  1. We're all pulling for the Sky man. Let's hope the doctors can figure it out and get him back to 100%.

  2. I agree that the 'knowing' is easier that guessing.

  3. You, sir, are a man of action. Someone once said, "The waiting is the hardest part" and I know that's true.

I just hope when they put there heads together tomorrow, they have the "aha!" moment.

That both sucks and rocks at the same time. I mean nothing noticable to worry about but yet, nothing noticable to treat. Damn!

  6. Glad to hear they ruled that out. You may not know what it is yet, but you now know one thing it isn't.

Red and I will say some prayers for him, you and the Mrs.

  8. Well, I guess you get to look at sexy nurses some more. That's always fun.

I really hope they find out what is the matter and fix him right up so he doesn't hurt anymore.

  10. I hate not knowing too. I do NOT need any reasons to create bizarre scenarios in my head. Just tell me what I'm dealing with, so I can wrap my brain around it.
