The Running of the Green

This is one of the funnest races in the Denver Metro area! It is a 7K (for lucky 7, which is the old name of the race) and winds around the lower Denver area out over I-25 and then back into lower downtown. Lots of people always attend, most are dressed up, and all of the restaurants and bars get involved. It is very well supported, and provides the usual race fare and also items you don't normally find at a running race - Beer!!!

It is a hilly course, and a couple of those took their toll on me as I struggled to push Skyler up them. I am really feeling it tonight. Here is a little bit of poor video if you feel inclined to see more.

The beer afterward is the only reason to run, right?
