Stop Motion

I am fascinated by stop motion photography. I think the amount of work that goes into it and the detail required to make it look good is amazing. Here are two examples that have come my way in the past couple of weeks that I think stand out above most.

Enjoy!

  1. I've always enjoyed the coinstar commercials. This is the first time I have seen the 2nd video. I loved it. Very interesting what they can do

  2. You've combined two of my loves in the first video - stop motion and Coinstar! Bravo.

The second one is awesome too. I'd like to come up with a good idea and do something like that too.

  3. Coinstar was my best friend in college, when I desperately needed all the money I could scrounge up.

I'm sorry, that was a lie. My best friend in college was Beer. But Coinstar helped me spend more time with him.

  7. that's amazing. I wonder how many hours-- how many DAYS-- it took to shoot the 2nd one?? And what a crew they must have had just to smooth out the sheets. I'd have gone stark raving nutters...

  8. Very cool. I liked Coinstar better but only because I've had too many restless nights for the second one to be entertaining.
