I am seemingly a collection of differences; a mountain man living on the plains, a small town boy living in the city, and a simple soul working in a high-tech environment. I love being outside, but work inside, quick to cry at a Kodak commercial, but with a military background. But most of all, I am the father of a wonderful boy with Cerebral Palsy.
Hey! Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteMy father started out his work life as a mechanic and later electrician. He worked as a field engineer for IBM (i.e. he repaired computers), and ended up in management at Northern Trust bank. He said that he realized one day that Dilbert applied to his work life every single day. He retired after that.
Glad to Johnny, I have been in the computer biz for most of my life.
ReplyDeleteDilberts creator, Scott Adams, used to be an engineer at Pacific Bell telephone. It's where he gotmost of his early ideas.
