For those of you who like to wager...

46 hours was the winning bid from touchdown at SeaTac airport until the first family fight. Evidentally, our extra use of the 40 year old washing machine caused it to die.

We are such butt heads for washing things...

  1. Washing things is so over-rated. Things are better left dirty,,,in my opinion of course.

A family fight? Well, it's your own damn fault, being all fancy with your washing and such.

  4. Dirty: People are always much better when they are dirty, as you well know.

Kirby: There is a river close by, I should have gone old school and used a rock.

BO: I am talking about doing laundry at the inlaws house, and the clutch burned out on their old washing machine.

You a-holes. Save your dirty stuff for when you get home.

(Had a similar experience at my in-laws' once. Used the dryer at the wrong time of day for the electric company... oh, no!!!)

Rule of life: If you have company, all house rules are to be questioned. If the light bill is higher, it is the price of hospitality. End of story.

    WTF is wrong with people???

However, I don't get why it is an issue for the daughter. In my case I was the opposing female that was the offender, not the member female. Member females have all rights - what's going on?

    hmmmm.

    Were *you* the washer, Skydad???

Foul!! Totally a foul!! Read the book, buddy. :D

  7. Ah, family...

You've got a lot of nerve doing laundry!

I have a feeling that you get along with you in-laws like I get along with my immediate family-- best at a distance.

  8. Dear Bro,

Reminds me of the time I used the bathroom at my hubby's mommie dearest's house and immediately flooded the entire bathroon, backed up the tub and the toilet.
    Nice job!!

  10. Well at least they let you stay there. When visiting my in laws we stayed in a hotel, it was safer. Oh the stories I have about my mother in law, thank GOD she lives in Florida.
