I love this, I have no idea what the announcer said, but in the version in my mind I see the parents out in the audience waiting for their young savant to render a version of Bach or Beethoven. Then she busts loose with this.

OMG that is absolutely amazing and flawless! This is one of my absolute favorite songs. I can't believe such a young girl would pick it over something MUCH easier to play!
