I've Got Nothing

Seriously folks, I have nothing to talk about. I am tapped out. Do you want to see another stupid video, or just want me to close this place down?

OK, that sounds more depressing than it really is, but I have been thinking of shutting this down for awhile. Or maybe just posting every once in awhile when something half-assed interesting happens.

The only thing that has been happening is my rearranging things:

So Kathy and I have been talking for a couple of weeks about moving some things around in our house. I had a small little desk in my office, and she had this huge “L” shaped entertainment system that I talked her into a couple of years ago. So I told her I needed more room, you want less clutter, let me just switch them with each other. She thought that was a good idea… Until I got half way through and had the whole house filled with junk because I had to empty 2 rooms at the same time!
I am just getting things back together, and she doesn’t like the little desk. So she is shopping online for a larger desk. Sigh…

  1. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Don't shut this down, Sky Dad - I need you! You make me smile and keep me sane!

Who says we have to blog daily anyway, huh? Impatient jerks, that's who. Ignore them.

    *deep breath*

I say blog when you feel like it. Get all Sinatra with it - do it YOUR WAY. No pressure. Nothing owed. Deal?

    ((((HUGS))))

  2. Posting every once in awhile when something half-assed interesting happens.

I believe that's known as the "Extraneous Kickassery Method."

  3. Hey, here's an idea. You shut down your blog and I'll rearrange your face!

So, okay, that was more of a threat than an idea, but whatever.

  4. The minute you shut it down, something will BEG you to write about it and you'll regret it.

Just post whenever you feel like it.

    And DON'T shut down!!!

  5. You don't have to post everyday. That's what BeckEye would call "ridonk".

I shut down because I had nothing left, and it was extremely liberating. But then 2 weeks later I had some (not very important) shit to say, so I just started another blog. Your friends that love you will come back whenever you're ready. Then again - I never had 114 fans to lose!

feel free to ignore this confusing advice.

There's no contract saying you can't take a break or just post/comment whenever you feel like it...but don't leave!

  11. Chris, listen to me. Sometimes we all feel like we are creatively tapped or we're just plain tired. Why don't you just take a little break? Your followers will understand, that.is.why.we.follow.you.
Bravo for organizing two rooms at once and trying to please the missus.

Don't stop posting such stories. I like to read articles like this. By the way add some pics :)

  18. Oh Skydad... As I've told you before, your blog should be your outlet... for YOU when YOU need it. Post something, or don't post something. We are here to read it when you feel like posting. It shouldn't feel like a task.

  19. You sound just like me! Do what you must but as Katrocket said, you'll think of something or need to post almost immediately after you shut down. I will follow you...

  20. I think a lot of us have been missing our muses lately.

Don't shut down, though. We'll miss you too much.

Just write when you feel like it.

  21. I'm glad you didn't shut down. I also hate that about organizing and moving stuff around. It creates such a mess in other rooms. Sigh.
