Now That's a Motley Crew!

Had a family photo taken up in Boulder at the Humane Society last week and just got the picture delivered. Unless you have tried this on your gaggle, you just can't imagine the fun of trying to get two dogs that are going crazy sniffing everything, and an uncooperative son to look forward and smile on cue!

It's all for a great cause though, to help out the 4 footed homeless.

That Sky-person is a-lookin' good!! A bit sullen, perhaps, but that's OK, we saw th' viddie of him getting a present outta' th' mailbox, so we know it's all a ruse.

Your son is not going to smile again until around 19. He's a teenager and it's mandatory for them to be uncooperative :)

I hope all is going well with Skyler!

  5. Mine refused to get senior pictures. Absolutely refused. And said they were going to graduation only because it is important to me. Sigh. At least there is that. Teens.

That one dog has a sort of Zorro mark, doesn't he?

  7. Well done. In film, they tell you that there are two groups never to work with: animals and kids. Congrats on getting a picture out of it.

  8. My teenager still usually smiles, but is otherwise well into teenagerhood, questioning every damned thing.

  9. Aw, Hootie and Jordi are so adorable, are as the rest of the fam.

  10. Thanks everyone, Skyler still smiles quite a bit, just not when it is convenient for us! That was a tough room, dark and smelling of all the dogs that had been through there. Too many distractions!

  12. Geeze, my wife and I just did a photo shoot of my buddy's family. Five teenagers, one small child, two babies, and three dogs. We took 437 photos. I think maybe three have everyone looking the same direction, let alone eyes open and/or smiling.

  13. That is a great picture. I (very) briefly worked at a studio like this and it is SO HARD to get everything and everyone looking and smiling. So honestly, a job well done!
