Brother, can you spare a degree?

Updated this morning: New record low last night -19 with -32 wind chill.

Because I don't have any on my thermometer right now, zero! Add in the wind chill and it's -18 out there. But the two pooches, Hootie and Yordi still want to go for their walk, and who am I to turn them down?

Burning off some energy before walkies!

What's the last thing you see in the camera right before you get two paws right in your chest?

Halfway between Denver and Boulder. Let's see . . . Broomfield? Westminster?

(I used to live near Greeley!)

  8. Nope, we're at about 15 above, but we have 45 mph winds and snow at the moment. Dagmar just took Zoey-Dog for a walk. They both came back covered in snow and ice...

  9. Dizzblnd: I got crushed!

Enc: Mailing address is Westminster, but closer to Broomfield.

    Expat: Nobody gets my pooches!

Cheer: Thanks for the compliment on Skyler and the dogs.

Zibbs: With my still camera that has a pretty poor resolution video setting.

    Cora: Me too.

Chris: I heard it is bad back there, hope you are doing OK.

  11. it's 48 here right now, but that's OK, 'cuz it's supposed to drop below freezing by nightfall. Meaning all that melted snow will turn into 4" of solid ice and then the REAL fun begins right 'bout rush hour.

This is why the fencing industry probably makes such good $$$ out there: open the back door, let 'em run and then open it back up when they want to come in.

I've been complaining about how cold it is - our high will be about 50 today. I guess I'd better shut up now.

  14. I'd be happy to be out in weather like that if I were covered in thick fur, too. Lucky dogs.
