I know bad when I see it

I am always hesitant to post any comments about music on any of your blogs because I am hopelessly out of touch with the music scene. But I do think I am qualified to comment on this wonderful rendition of Star Wars.

It's like a train wreck, you can't help but watch...

  3. I give her credit for actually getting up there and doing it and actually throwing in some dance moves!

    That was HORRIBLE!

  4. Pistols: I want to know more about this contest, there wasn't any additional info!

Teri: You wouldn't stand up to the CIA very well, would you?

Slinger: Yeah, she had guts to get up there without any talent, practice, or knowledge of music.

  5. I don't know what was worse-- the off-key horn playing or the ridiculous dance moves.

I found myself wondering how she got the gig. Perhaps by playing the skin flute?

  6. Wait, this has got to be an homage to either Andrea Martin or Catherina O'hara. Can't you just picture Edith Prickley or Edna Boil doing the same routine?

  7. JY: Skin flute was her pre-show talent!

Kirby: She needed Edith's leopard skin gear to really make the routine rock!

  8. Oh, oh the horror! Sweet baby Jebus that was horrible. I'm going to have nightmares for years. Douglas (Georgia?) obviously has a severe and crippling shortage of talent.

  11. Was this one of the bad auditions for So You Think You Can Dance AND Play Trumpet?

Where is Bill Murray when you need him?

  12. Not only that, but the girl doesn't work her camera angles at all - we're looking straight up her trumpet the whole time!

  13. beckeye: So do you think there is a new reality series here?

GKL: Looking straight up her trumpet sound kind of kinky, but I am sure you never thought of that!

  14. Do you think we could sign her up for the Horn line at Pomona?
