I am seemingly a collection of differences; a mountain man living on the plains, a small town boy living in the city, and a simple soul working in a high-tech environment. I love being outside, but work inside, quick to cry at a Kodak commercial, but with a military background. But most of all, I am the father of a wonderful boy with Cerebral Palsy.
He is just too cute! What a great school picture.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the time passing. My youngest went to the Homecoming dance last weekend. I almost lost it after they left.
...sigh...
Kids just grow up too fast.
Once again that fab smile.
ReplyDeleteTime does go by fast. I look at my kids and can't believe they are adults.
I take it back. Once they hit those wonderful teenage sarcasm years, they don't grow fast enough.
ReplyDeleteCheer: Thanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteRaven: Thanks to you also, and I know what you mean about those teen years. I can't believe the amount of backtalk we get from a kid who can't speak.
Just wait until his Goth phase.
ReplyDeleteKirby: The only benefit of me dressing him daily, so far as I can tell...
ReplyDeleteLooks just like you.
ReplyDeleteGrant: Our baby pictures are indistinguishable from each other.
ReplyDeleteExcept that mine where, you know, black and white...
Oh they don't need a voice. Just their eyes to roll and a grimace or other face movements to tell you that they think you are an incompetant boob and know nothing.
ReplyDeleteHello Skyler! Nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteSkyler's a cutie! I love the way he looks! And I know what you mean about the "back talk"--I'll bet he has a million ways to give you a tough time and let you know EXACTLY what he wants, what he doesn't want, and how he feels about EVERYTHING. He's a teenager--he's got to get all that back talk out, or else! :)
ReplyDeleteRaven: He gives us a sneer, and grunts... Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteBlue beak: Thanks for dropping in!
Zed: You are so right. There are a bunch of different ways he lets us know we aren't cutting it!
Handsome man, just like his papa.
ReplyDeleteThat is one handsome young man! Watch him around the ladies...
ReplyDeleteGKL: Thanks, and awww shucks...
ReplyDeleteJY: He is a babe magnet, right up to the point he drools. That seems to put most of the ladies off, we are working on it!
Nice pic!
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering where the time goes, myself. Saw my niece again this weekend, who is 12 going on 13, but her body is going on 21. Oy vey.
That's funny-- drooling's never hurt me in the babe department...
