Kids just grow up too fast.

I take it back. Once they hit those wonderful teenage sarcasm years, they don't grow fast enough.

Oh they don't need a voice. Just their eyes to roll and a grimace or other face movements to tell you that they think you are an incompetant boob and know nothing.

And I know what you mean about the "back talk"--I'll bet he has a million ways to give you a tough time and let you know EXACTLY what he wants, what he doesn't want, and how he feels about EVERYTHING. He's a teenager--he's got to get all that back talk out, or else! :)
