Bad Tat Tuesday

Because I haven't got anything else, and I do have good friends who feed me these!  You all are too kind, thank you.

Interesting that these were sent by folks who didn't want to be identified because they noticed I was getting a few too many hits on the blog with this series! 

Just your typical poorly done cat riding on a pizza skateboard.  This has been overdone...


Is that a rainbow tongue?  Or is mr bear chucking up a rainbow?  Either way, it disturbs me.

I actually like this one!

I am all for family, but that thing is huge!



I think this one was done by the Spanish lady who "fixed" the 100 year old work of art in their church.

Last and certainly not the least, the lone person to step up and use her wonderful name Vegetable Assassin, sent me these two.  Thanks Veggie!!


This looks too amazing to be real, but if it is, that is incredible work!
The next one from Veggie is a video, and I suppose even if you know better than to look at anything I post at work, you really shouldn't watch this in your cube.  Or if you are easily skeeved out...

    I'm amazed by UV-tattoos (you know, those only visible under UV lights).

    Cat on a pizza skateboard, huh? Never seen that before. Still, horrible.

    And I didn't watch the video, I don't like the description of it (but it reminds me of the movie "Big Stan" where Stan gets his a-hole tattooed of a very special reason).

    I'd have given Guy #1 some slack if he'd put something even remotely clever caption under the cat tat, like "Pizza and Pussy, It's What's For Dinner" but "Get Meowta Here?" Seriously? His grandma probably has a sweatshirt that says the exact same thing.

    I think you are right, that 3D tattoo is probably shopped, but if not, WOW! Still freaks me out though somehow. It's there no end to terrible tattoo art? Seemingly not.

Repost: Everyone uses the word, what's your problem

This is from 2009, but I wanted to re-post it because today is "Spread the word to end the word" day. Every time I hear somebody refer to Skyler as "retard" I die a little more inside. Our-kids is a group of over 1000 people who all are people who are in one way or another in the special needs community. Most of us are parents, but there are teachers, doctors, therapists, siblings, and some are the person with the diagnosis. It is a worldwide community, but most are from the United States. We benefit from having an international membership, because it can be quite interesting to hear about viewpoints or medical procedures that are going on in other countries. Over the years, I have had faceless names become close friends, engaged in discussions about body functions you wouldn’t mention to your doctor, and gained a valuable sounding board for advice and ideas. I have grown to care about a lot of these people, and their lives as much as some of my own friend

Goodbye old friend. Hootie: 1997-2009

I'll never forget the day I first saw him. We were driving home from Golden and Kathy said "Why don't you go this way?" We headed down a street I had never been on and found ourselves driving by a little strip mall. Then Kathy says "Turn in here a minute." Now my spidey senses are on alert, and sure enough, we wind up parking in front of a pet store. Kathy had been out in Golden a couple of days before and had found Hootie sitting in a cage looking so lonely. When we walked in, there was a sad little puppy up high in his own cage, with a sign that had 2 different prices crossed out and the third was pretty low. He had been taken and then returned to the pet store. I knew right then that we were heading home with another dog, I had been suckered! I still wasn't quite over the loss of our Golden Retriever, but I never do seem to get over the loss of a pet.
