Let's start the New Year off right

With some random stuff that I have collected:

Think anybody has updated the numbers for 2007? Or was that depressing enough?

My brother-in-law, the happy elf! You rock Chuck!

And of course, how Thanksgiving would look if Norman Rockwell had lived down south.

  1. You have NO IDEA how close this is to my family, sans Buttwiper. My mother doesn't cook, she opens cans.

  2. Thanks for posting those numbers.

Yesterday, Adam and I were in Uncle Fun, a wonderful novelty shop here in Chicago. The owner and staff are definitely left-leaning. They had a great clock-- it runs backward, down to the day Bush leaves office. It's under 400 days now, thank god.

That Rockwell parody reminds me again why I don't bother keeping up with most of my mom's family.

  4. The only thing missing from that Thanksgiving pic is some jello salad. And ma isn't showing enough cleavage or midriff.

I like that "priceless" graphic too.

Happy New Year! I'm glad I stumbled onto your blog this year, and I'm looking forward to seeing more in 08.

  8. Maybe next year, Chuck can LEAD Santa's sleigh team... have him drink more alcohol and his nose will light up beat red for sure.
